The model is straightforward: your team works full-time from our managed office in Cebu IT Park, Philippines. You direct the work. We handle everything else.
This is not a BPO, a VA marketplace, or an EOR arrangement. Your team members are dedicated full-time employees, not shared agents, not gig workers, not independently located contractors. They work in our Cebu IT Park office, under our supervision, on your work priorities.

The division of responsibility is clear. You focus on running your business. We handle the employment, infrastructure and administration behind your offshore team.
Most teams are fully operational within 4 to 6 weeks. Here is what that process looks like step by step.
We start with a 30-minute call to understand your business, the roles you need to fill, headcount requirements and working hours. We will tell you upfront whether your roles are a good fit for the Cebu model. If offshore back-office is not right for your situation, we will say so.
We work with you to define the job scope, required qualifications, key outputs and systems access needs. If you have existing SOPs, we review them. If not, we help you document the core tasks. The clearer the role definition, the faster and more accurate the recruitment.
We advertise roles on JobStreet, SEEK Philippines and our local Cebu networks. We filter applicants against your requirements, run background checks and shortlist the top candidates. You receive a shortlist of typically 3 to 5 candidates with CVs and our assessment notes.
We run two online interview rounds, plus an optional final in-person interview at our Cebu office for senior roles. You approve the final hire. We make the offer, handle contract signing and complete Philippine pre-employment requirements including NBI clearance and medical checks.
Before the team member starts, we configure their company-managed desktop, install required software and establish VPN access to your systems. We set up email and communication tools. On their first day, they have a fully configured workstation ready.
Your offshore team starts working your business hours from our Cebu IT Park office. We handle day-to-day supervision, attendance, payroll and HR. You manage the work and priorities, and receive one all-inclusive invoice per month.
Day-to-day management stays with us so output does not drop.
We handle IT setup, system access and workstation configuration before your team member starts. Systems are tested and access verified before go-live.
Working hours and activity are tracked daily. URL and website activity, break and time tracking, and output are reviewed by your team lead. Structured business hours enforced.
Payroll, government contributions and HR are handled by Plus Back Office. Office management, IT support and workstation maintenance are ongoing. Staff onboarding and offboarding is controlled.
Home-based arrangements use personal devices with no oversight. This creates real problems around data security, accountability and output consistency. Plus Back Office operates differently.
Your team works in a professional office environment with on-site managers present during working hours. Attendance is tracked, break times are managed and performance issues are escalated through a proper HR process. This is not possible with home-based workers spread across different locations.
A professional office environment removes the variability of home working. No unreliable personal internet connections. No domestic disruptions. No team member suddenly unavailable because of a power cut at home. Your team shows up, works in a consistent environment and completes the working day.
All work is done on company-managed desktops connected to a secure office network with VPN, 2FA and disk encryption. There are no personal devices in the equation. Physical access to the office requires biometric authentication. CCTV covers the workspace. For businesses handling financial data, client records or commercially sensitive information, this matters. See our full security overview.
Office-based teams are easier to train, easier to build culture with and easier to manage. New starters have colleagues around them. Senior members can mentor junior ones. Team meetings happen in a real shared space. Over time, this builds a more capable and more cohesive team.
These are the questions we hear most often from CFOs and operations managers before they make a decision.
No. You remain the direct manager of your team's work priorities and output. The division of responsibility is clear: you own the work direction, we own the employment and operations. Most clients communicate with their Cebu team daily via the same tools they use with their in-house staff.
The Philippines operates on GMT+8, aligned with Australian business hours, with night shift available for US businesses. Your Cebu team joins your Slack, Teams or Google Chat. Video calls work the same as with any in-office or remote staff member. Most clients run a brief daily standup and communicate by message throughout the day.
All team members sign confidentiality agreements and data handling policies as part of their employment contracts. Work is performed on company-managed desktops with no personal device access to your systems. We recommend that businesses also have their offshore team members sign a data processing agreement aligned with their data protection obligations. Full security details here.
From discovery call to go-live, the typical timeline is 4 to 6 weeks. Recruitment takes 2 to 4 weeks. IT setup and pre-employment checks take approximately one week. The first two weeks on the job are a structured onboarding period. The speed depends primarily on how quickly you can brief the role, run interviews and approve the hire.
Plus Back Office charges a single monthly fee per team member. There are no hidden costs and no separate billing for HR, payroll, IT or facilities. Everything is included.
